OUR STORY
I used to work as an interior designer, focusing on creating spaces that truly made people feel at ease. Whether selecting soft furnishings, warm color palettes, or planning functional room layouts, I always prioritized small details—all to turn a house into a "home" : a place where people could shed their stress the moment they walked in.
Then one day, I watched my father tend to his fish tank slowly. He wiped the glass with a soft cloth, as if afraid of startling the gliding fish inside, hummed an old tune under his breath, and followed the school with eyes full of calm and contentment. In that moment, it hit me: these fish were more than just pets—they were quiet, warm companions that eased his loneliness in his later years.
Driven by the need to spend more time with my family and long-term plans for the future, I decided to quit my old job. I then joined hands with my spouse, who is also a designer, to co-found "HushDen". We hope to take this as a carrier to extend the original intention of "building a home" from the past to these underwater companions. Through this career, we aim to strengthen the bond between people, pets and homes, allowing more people to feel the gentle warmth brought by aquatic pets.
To me, tank fish aren’t just decor—they’re quiet "family." Their gentle swim eases tiredness; their lively presence fills empty corners, turning ordinary spaces into cozy havens. Companionship is at HushDen’s core: we don’t just design aquascapes, but heartfelt connections for human-pet coexistence.
This connection roots in respecting nature’s ecology. We use natural, recyclable materials to keep water free from harsh chemicals, and mimic wild aquatic balance—letting plants, microbes, and fish interact organically. This keeps underwater life healthy and honors the natural world.
My interior design experience taught me to understand real home needs, making me thorough in aquascaping. Every aquascape fits a home’s style, blending like it’s always been there. We refine small details for both beauty and eco-friendliness. I believe professionalism means caring: listening to you, protecting your fish, and sustaining that precious companionship.
Looking ahead, HushDen will keep this "warm work." We’ll make aquascapes fit homes even better, design low-effort solutions, and craft cozy corners where you share simple joy with your underwater "family."
